Medicare Rebates
How does Medicare work?
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
An appointment may be considered a Did Not Attend (DNA) if you:
- Do not attend your appointment
- Cancel with less than 4 hours’ notice
- Arrive more than 10 minutes late without contacting reception
If you miss an appointment:
Following a second DNA, we may restrict online bookings and ask you to contact the practice directly.
A cancellation or no-show fee may also apply.
DNA and late-cancellation fees are not Medicare rebatable.
Repeated missed appointments may lead to further booking restrictions.
We know unexpected things happen, so if you’re running late or can’t attend, please contact us as soon as you can.
